![]() ![]() I think my character's strongest hit is like 3901 :P My skeletons hit for anywhere from 30-50k though. Apply spider mines liberally during the skeleton cooldown time. You'll be summoning 3 skeletons every 7 seconds, so cast speed makes that a bit less painful. Just give it some spells that boost regular attacks so your pet can pretend they're contributing.įor gear, focus damage reduction, +pet/minion damage, and cast speed. Don't give it summon spells, they don't get +minion boosts from your gear so they're just dead weight that blocks your real minions from engaging in combat. Archers have a huge cooldown and crumple like paper, blood zombie has a limit of 1, zombies are just worse spider mines, and I was never impressed by imps for some reason I can't recall right now.īy endgame, your actual pet will be your worst minion. Other summon scrolls kinda stink IMO, but it's your call, really. You wont be able to do this from the start, you'll need to get to scroll Levels I, II, and III (and eventually move up to IV, V, and VI), because you can only have one of a spell equipped, but levels count as separate spells. For spells you want Pet Handling and 2-3 Summon Skeleton scrolls. I don't bother with the charge mechanic at all and invest entirely into summon and survival skills. Easiest is probably a summoner engineer or a summon-cannoneer, though plenty of engineer builds work. ive been looking into this for awhile and it seems that the engineer is the easiest way. I don't know if this works without respeccing though, because I did around level 40 when I realized cannons were really boring. then try an engineer, might work better for you. Fights with lots of enemies will be tough until your mid- to. #Torchlight 2 summoner build fullI went full summoner though, no damage skills. This build will start you off buffing your passives for crit, charge, and lifesteal while relying mostly on auto-attacks for damage. *Bulwark –> 15 points – what more can i say this is great for tanking.I've done NG+5 Elite with a summoner engie, so it's definitely possible. *Sledgebot –> 15 points – wow this robot is awesome!!! this guy hits hard (thas what she said).since in earlier lvls the cd is long and he duration is short.i summon sledgebot and gunbot on intervals.when one goes away summon the otherĪnd vice versa.up to u how u want to play it *Gunbot –> 15 points – although its not great the dps is good ually in the earlier lvls wenever i make this guy come out i tank the elite or boss so that he kinda stays still Also you can throw these anywhere lol…u dont have to target anything just keep throwing it.and the aoe is awesome.(example – owned the big slime guys on phase portal in new game plus) This is by far the most underrated skill we have!!!!!!…these scale with ur lvl.and at each lvl gives it a 5% chance increase to spawn a supermine (stuns), and this actually puts a dot on the enemy as well as shock so that ur *Spider mines –> 15 points – get this to 5 points early on.and keep it there until ur high enough to get rank 10 due to high mana cost (i think at lvl 46 you can get rank 10) *Healbot –> 15 points – this is by far the best skill the eng has over all the other characters.just keep putting points into this whenever u can!!!! ![]() #Torchlight 2 summoner build upgradeIcy Blast will trigger Ice Brand since its a “hit” effect like PB but not only this, it will procc our Staff mastery to shred the elemantal resistance of our enemies and has a chance to freeze and immobilize them, even more the first tier upgrade will debuff the damage they do by 20%, man does this skill look more appealing now or what? But on the other hand I dont recommend investing more then 5 points in it, why? First of all we wont be using this to dish out our top notch dmg, and this scales so bad its not worth for the dmg alone, second thing is we will be using this to quickly debuff our enemies or the boss we are fighting to stack the staff mastery debuff from range and aplly the -20% dmg debuff, so we want to keep the mana cost low! Lets face it, on its own this skill doesnt do any damage, but as soon as you get ice brand this will start to shine a bit more, and if we look at the design of this spell, it rly isnt ment to do damage, its for debuffing and cc, and since we wont go PB lets take what we get, and make the most of it. ![]()
